A curved C-shaped arm sweeps out from a stepped rectangular backplate and lifts a candle cup with a wide bobeche. On top sits a tapered shade cut from natural alabaster in place of the usual fabric, so when lit, the stone glows warm and shows its soft amber veining.
Natural alabaster, one of a kind
The shade is cut from natural alabaster. Veining, tone and small marks differ from piece to piece, so no two sconces look exactly the same.
