The Ambrevil Alabaster Double Wall Sconce is the two-light version of the Ambrevil sconce. Two curved swan arms rise from a cast shell detail on a stepped rectangular backplate, then dip and lift into candle cups with wide bobeches. Each holds a tapered shade of natural alabaster that glows warm with soft amber veining. Choose Aged Brass, Brushed Nickel, or Black.

Natural alabaster — one of a kind

Both shades are cut from natural alabaster, so veining, tone, and small marks differ from piece to piece, and the two shades on one sconce will not match exactly — part of the stone, not a defect.

Setup & Care

Turn off power at the breaker before installing — a licensed electrician is recommended.
Mount the backplate upright so both arms curve up and the shades sit level.
Dust the shades with a soft, dry cloth; do not use water or cleaning sprays on the stone.
Let the bulbs cool before handling the shades or changing a bulb.

What I like most is that it has personality without demanding all the attention after living with it for a bit after living with it for a bit.

In person, i was unsure about the placement at first, but it works beautifully on the stair landing for the way we use the room. It works with the rest of the room rather than competing with it. I am very happy with how the whole area came together. It has been a very satisfying choice.

After living with it a little, it works well with the way we actually use the room day to day once everything else was in place. The light feels comfortable for the way we use this area. It has been easy to enjoy without overthinking it. I can see us keeping it for a long time. I would buy it again.
