The Kervelle Micro-Cement Outdoor Wall Sconce is a compact cube of hand-finished micro-cement with a fine sandstone texture, built on an aluminum frame. Its clean, squared form sits close to the wall like a small block of stone, while a recessed round LED lens on the underside casts a focused pool of warm 3000K light downward. Rated IP54 for covered porches, patios and balconies, and equally suited to hallways and stairwells, it comes in white or black.

Hand-finished micro-cement

Each cube is finished by hand, so the sand grain, speckle and tone vary slightly from piece to piece. These small differences are part of the material and are not defects.

Setup & Care

Turn off power at the breaker before installing. A licensed electrician is recommended.
Mount with the LED lens facing down so the light falls on the wall and ground below.
For outdoor use, mount under a roof or eave and seal all wiring connections in a weatherproof junction box.
Wipe the micro-cement with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and pressure washers.
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to change.

I liked it online, but I like it much more in the actual outdoor area compared with what was there before. The light has made the approach to the house feel more intentional.

During everyday use, it gives the outdoor area character without pushing everything else into the background in person.

After living with it a little, it gave the entry area a softer, more considered feel. It made the outdoor area feel more complete in a very natural way. It feels like a good fit for the entry area we actually live in.
