The Bobbin Alabaster Wall Sconce pairs two rounded-end cylinders of natural alabaster, one above the other, joined by a slim spool-shaped metal hub. A flat rectangular wall plate sits behind the hub, and a pair of thin metal rings cap the inner ends of the stone. It reads as one tall, glowing column in three metal finishes: Brass, Black, and Nickel.

Installation & Care

Mount to a secure wall junction box using the rectangular wall plate; installation should follow local electrical requirements and typically needs a licensed electrician.
Two G9 bulbs are included — fit one in each shade.
Dust the alabaster shades gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the stone.
Wipe the metal hub and plate with a soft, dry cloth; disconnect power before cleaning or servicing.
Intended for indoor, dry use.

Compared with before, it gives the room character without pushing everything else into the background with the rest of the room.

In person, it gives the hallway a clear center without crowding it compared with what was there before. The effect is noticeable without being dramatic. I am very happy with how the whole area came together. I can see us keeping it for a long time. It has been a very satisfying choice.
