Setup & Care

Slide the base under a sofa or chair, or set it on a level floor, with the arm over the seat.
Fit an E26/E27 bulb up to 60W and plug the lamp into a wall outlet.
Press the foot switch on the cord to turn the lamp on and off.
Dust the frame and the paper shade with a dry cloth. Do not wet or soak the shade.
Unplug before cleaning or changing the bulb. For indoor, dry use only.

In actual use, it has become one of those things I use without thinking about it in person. The effect is noticeable without being dramatic. Nothing about it feels out of place.

Day to day, it works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it compared with what was there before. It fills the corner without making it feel crowded. It has enough presence to matter, but it still feels easy. I would buy it again.
