Carrara Alabaster Pendant Light

The Carrara Alabaster Pendant Light is a dome pendant carved entirely from natural Spanish alabaster — 100% imported from Spain. Light flows into the stone and the whole shade takes on an ethereal, honey-veined glow, with no frame to interrupt the form. Two sizes are offered: Small at Ø 18 × H 19 cm (7.1″ × 7.5″) with an E14 base, and Large at Ø 22 × H 19 cm (8.7″ × 7.5″) with an E26/E27 base. Hang one over a bedside or entryway, or pair the two sizes at staggered heights over a dining table or kitchen island.

It gave the breakfast nook a more settled, finished look for the way we use the room. It gives the area enough presence without making the ceiling feel busy. It gives the room personality without adding visual clutter. It has become one of my favorite details in the space.

In actual use, it has fit into our routine without feeling precious or fussy now that the room is finished. The fixture feels connected to the room rather than floating above it. I would make the same choice again.

On an ordinary day, it brought just enough visual interest to the space now that the room is finished. I like how it defines the spot underneath without making the room feel smaller.
