For this room, the reading corner feels finished but still relaxed. The alabaster is a nice detail, especially because the overall design still feels balanced. The practical side of living with it is that the room feels better without asking for any extra effort. Once the room is quiet, the atmosphere feels relaxed without becoming dramatic.

What I notice after dark is that the breakfast nook has a nicer rhythm.

I expected an adjustment period, but the pendant feels much more natural in the room than it did on screen. I like the contrast it creates; the pendant adds interest without turning the space into a theme. The more I look at the room, the more I think the room has a stronger visual center.
