Once the room is quiet, the hallway has a nicer rhythm. From the sofa, the hallway feels more intentional from more than one angle. What surprised me in regular use is that I notice the wall light in passing more than I expected.

What changed most is that the reading corner has a clearer focal point without feeling busy.

I thought this would be a small update, but the wall light made a bigger difference to the reading corner than I expected. In a room that already had enough going on, the design is noticeable up close and calmer from a distance.
