From the hall, the hallway has more definition without losing its simplicity. In a room that already had enough going on, the wall light stands out without making everything else compete. After the novelty wore off, I realized that the wall light fits naturally into the way the hallway functions.

The room did not need another trend, and I like that the wall light adds detail without asking the rest of the room to get louder. The alabaster is a nice detail, especially because the overall design still feels balanced.

As part of our normal routine, the wall light feels familiar in the room surprisingly quickly. I was more cautious about this choice than usual, but the room feels more settled than I expected from one change. The room changes most at night because the bedroom feels calmer. The visual balance works because the wall light adds detail without asking the rest of the room to get louder. I expected the design to blend in a little more, and I would make the same choice for this space.
