For me, the biggest difference is that the room reads as more complete. I did not buy it just for photos, and thankfully I enjoy it most when the room is being used normally.

What I see now is that the bedroom corner has a clearer focal point without feeling busy. Between workdays and weekends, the floor lamp has become part of the routine rather than a special feature.

From across the room, the sofa corner feels more balanced than it did before. When the room is not styled for anything, I like that it feels like a natural part of the room now. At the point when the room usually felt flat, the atmosphere feels relaxed without becoming dramatic. I like that the floor lamp can be noticed or ignored depending on what the room is doing.

The longer this has been in the living room, the more I appreciate that I notice the floor lamp in passing more than I expected. As a design choice, the floor lamp adds a point of view without taking over the room. The first thing I noticed was that the empty areas around the furniture make more sense. Online, I worried it might be too much; in person, the floor lamp feels less risky and more like the obvious choice.
