Even before bedtime, the bedroom feels more inviting.

The longer it is in the room, the more I appreciate that the ceiling light has become part of the routine rather than a special feature. From the sofa, the ceiling light gives the room structure without dominating it. The ceiling light does its job without making the room feel arranged around a fixture. After sunset, the room feels more lived-in and relaxed. What keeps it from feeling too much is that the piece gives the room personality without making it feel curated for a photo.
