Seen from the other side of the room, the living room feels more balanced than it did before. I like the contrast it creates; the design has personality without dictating the rest of the room. We added this while finishing the room after a move, and it helped the living room feel like ours. I expected to like it, but the scale of the idea feels right once it is part of the whole room. Late in the day, the room has more depth.
