On a normal day, it adds something to the dining table without making the room feel staged. The design has enough personality to stand on its own, so I kept everything around it simple. I like that the surface feels finished without looking overdone. At first I thought it might be too much for the surface, but I like the room better with it.

I can move it to a different spot without the room losing the idea behind it. In everyday life, the candle holder feels easy to live with rather than precious. Standing back from the arrangement, the candle holder gives the coffee table a clear finishing point. The room looks more layered now, but not busier.
