Compared with before, the table lamp makes the room feel considered rather than decorated. What I notice after dark is that the table lamp gives the room a more settled feel.

For daily living, I like that the table lamp fits naturally into the way the reading corner functions. What makes the design successful here is that the table lamp adds a point of view without taking over the room. The design feels considered without making daily use of the reading corner any more complicated. It took me a little while to decide how much else the room needed, but I like the room more now than before.
