What works visually is that the living room has a clearer focal point without feeling busy. As the living room becomes part of the day, I enjoy it most when the room is being used normally.

The longer this has been in the stair landing, the more I appreciate that the room still works the same way, it just feels more pleasant. The design feels considered without making daily use of the stair landing any more complicated. This was the missing visual step for me because the empty areas around the furniture make more sense. After sunset, the atmosphere feels intentional rather than accidental.

The longer it is in the room, the more I appreciate that the bedroom is nicer to spend time in without feeling newly decorated. Compared with before, the wall light makes the room feel considered rather than decorated. When the daylight is gone, the room feels warmer in mood, not busier. I wanted a piece that would make the bedroom feel better without creating extra visual clutter, and this does. The bedroom feels more personal because the wall light adds a point of view without taking over the room.
