I thought this would be a small update, but the wall light made a bigger difference to the stair landing than I expected. By evening, the room has more depth. Now that I see it with the rest of the room, the wall light gives the room structure without dominating it. In the flow of an ordinary day, I notice the wall light in passing more than I expected. At first I thought it might be too noticeable, though it has grown on me in daily use.

Kept against a quieter background, the wall light stands out without making everything else compete. The alabaster is a nice detail, especially because the overall design still feels balanced.
