Against quieter furniture, the pendant adds detail without asking the rest of the room to get louder. During a normal week, I enjoy it most when the room is being used normally. Once the room is quiet, the atmosphere feels relaxed without becoming dramatic. From the sofa, the kitchen feels more intentional from more than one angle.

I expected the room to need more adjustment, yet the scale of the idea feels right once it is part of the whole room. Compared with before, the room has a stronger visual center. By the time we are winding down, the living room has a nicer rhythm.
