On darker evenings, the atmosphere feels relaxed without becoming dramatic. Even when the room is a little messy, the room still works the same way, it just feels more pleasant. With the other pieces doing less, the floor lamp stands out without making everything else compete. I like that the room feels pulled together without looking staged. I thought I might need to redesign around it, but the floor lamp feels less risky and more like the obvious choice.
