Late in the day, the reading corner feels more inviting. For this room, the reading corner feels more balanced than it did before.

Between workdays and weekends, the wall light feels familiar in the room surprisingly quickly. The risk for me was choosing too much personality, yet the room feels more settled than I expected from one change. The oval shape is simple enough to live with but still gives the room some structure. With everything else left alone, the wall light adds presence without making the room feel heavy.

Seen from the other side of the room, the reading corner has a clearer focal point without feeling busy. At night, the reading corner feels calmer. What surprised me in regular use is that the design is easy to live with instead of demanding attention.
