Embrace Form Sculpture

A simplified human torso — sculpted in glossy white FRP — leans forward, with one hand placed on the shoulder and another at the lower back, as if mid-embrace. The figure rests on a square base finished to resemble veined white-and-gray marble, anchoring the composition with weight and texture against the smooth body above. At W 22.8″ × H 44.5″, the Embrace Form is a decorative sculpture meant for low pedestals, console tables, mantels, or gallery-style displays in art-driven living rooms, foyers, and design-forward private residences.

Decorative sculpture — not a lamp

The Embrace Form is a non-illuminated decorative sculpture. It does not contain a light source, bulb socket, or electrical wiring of any kind, and is intended as an indoor art object rather than a lighting fixture. No installation, plug, or assembly is required.

Marble-look — finished in FRP, not real stone

The base is hand-finished to resemble veined white-and-gray marble, but the material is the same fiberglass-reinforced plastic as the figure — not real stone. This keeps the piece light, evenly toned, and easier to relocate. Care should still be gentle (see Care below).

The sculpture has settled into the home office so naturally that it no longer feels new. The piece has more presence in person than I pictured, but it still feels balanced in the home office. Standing back from the arrangement, the home office feels more collected now. It does not need much around it to look intentional. Guests tend to notice this without me pointing it out, which I like.

The reason I kept it in this spot is that the room looks more intentional without feeling crowded. This looked interesting online, but it makes much more sense once it is part of an actual room. The sculpture gives the surface a point of view without filling every empty spot. A visitor noticed it before I mentioned the room update.
