I almost chose something safer, and now the overall presence feels easier than I expected. It took me a little while to decide how much else the room needed, but I like the room more now than before.

Now that I see it with the rest of the room, the living room has more definition without losing its simplicity.

My first instinct was to play it safe, but the scale of the idea feels right once it is part of the whole room. When we are winding down, the dining area feels more inviting. I stopped overthinking the choice once I realized that it feels like a natural part of the room now.
