The longer this has been in the dining area, the more I appreciate that I enjoy it most when the room is being used normally. The more I look at the room, the more I think the dining area has a clearer focal point without feeling busy. I was unsure until I saw it in the room; the pendant made a bigger difference to the dining area than I expected. I wanted a piece that would make the dining area feel better without creating extra visual clutter, and this does.
