I like the contrast it creates; the design has personality without dictating the rest of the room. After the novelty wore off, I realized that the chandelier has become part of the routine rather than a special feature. For me, the biggest difference is that the stair landing has a clearer focal point without feeling busy. I wanted a piece that would make the stair landing feel better without creating extra visual clutter, and this does.

When the rest of the house gets quiet, the chandelier gives the room a more settled feel. At first I thought it might be too noticeable, but it settled into the room better than I expected.
