On ordinary weeknights, the pendant gives the room a more settled feel. Up close, the fabric gives the piece some depth without making it feel heavy. What I like about the design is that the pendant feels intentional without looking overly styled.

What I see now is that the reading corner feels more intentional from more than one angle. What matters to me day to day is that the pendant feels familiar in the room surprisingly quickly. The risk for me was choosing too much personality, yet the choice feels bolder in a good way rather than simply louder. In a room that already had enough going on, the design is noticeable up close and calmer from a distance.
