What I see now is that the breakfast nook feels more balanced than it did before. I appreciate it most because the piece feels useful and visually settled at the same time.

Walking into the entry, I notice that the pendant feels connected to the room rather than added on. The piece earns attention without demanding it because the pendant adds detail without asking the rest of the room to get louder.

At night, the entry feels especially comfortable. I thought I might need to redesign around it, but the pendant made a bigger difference to the entry than I expected. What works visually is that the pendant gives the room structure without dominating it. When nobody is paying attention to the room, the entry is nicer to spend time in without feeling newly decorated. As a design choice, the pendant stands out without making everything else compete.
