We chose this light fixture to replace a larger, outdated chandelier style light that was hanging over the small table in our kitchen nook.

LOCATION: Deck south facing put semi shaded in SouthEast USA in November testing. Seems to have a large enough solar panel to charge the light even on partly cloudy short daylight days to keep the light burning all night long. I have been experimenting with solar lights and this one is the longest lasting one I have found so far. Others in same location with smaller panel are just lasting a few hours.
I am looking for something that will last all night long for my deck and that will project a wide path of light for safety while letting the dogs out for their last walkabout before bed. This one does not project enough for pathway safety put does have a nice ambient light for gate post and deck post for landscape lighting. I would highly recommend this for landscape type lighting put not for pathway safety lighting unless spaced close together.

These lights are beautiful in their own right. They are well made. I was concerned that you could see the bulb through the shade when lit, but you can't. This wall light looks more expensive.
