On slower evenings at home, the wall light gives the room a more settled feel. The choice felt less obvious online; now the design is more versatile with the rest of the room than I pictured. Day to day, I like that the wall light feels familiar in the room surprisingly quickly.

In the early evening, the room feels warmer in mood, not busier.

After sunset, the reading corner feels softer without losing definition. I kept a backup option in mind, but the scale of the idea feels right once it is part of the whole room. The best sign for me is that the room feels comfortable rather than staged. Looking at the whole space together, the reading corner has more definition without losing its simplicity. Up close, the alabaster gives the piece some depth without making it feel heavy.
