This was the missing visual step for me because the bedroom feels finished but still relaxed. When I turn the other lights down, the room feels less flat. The reason this feels easy to live with is that the chandelier adds a point of view without taking over the room. It took me a little while to decide how much else the room needed, but it settled into the room better than I expected.
