The nighttime difference is that the living room feels calmer. With everything else left alone, the room feels pulled together without looking staged. I spent a little longer finding the right balance around it, and I would make the same choice for this space.

When the room is not styled for anything, I like that the design is easy to live with instead of demanding attention. The more I look at the room, the more I think the wall light adds presence without making the room feel heavy. In the early evening, the atmosphere feels relaxed without becoming dramatic. I went back and forth before ordering, but the wall light made a bigger difference to the living room than I expected.
