At a glance, the pendant adds presence without making the room feel heavy. I kept a backup option in mind, but the pendant feels much more natural in the room than it did on screen. As a design choice, the pendant adds interest without turning the space into a theme. From the sofa, the room looks more resolved without feeling fuller.
