What changed most is that the room feels pulled together without looking staged. I wanted a piece that would make the entry feel better without creating extra visual clutter, and this does. After the novelty wore off, I realized that the room still works the same way, it just feels more pleasant. The design feels considered without making daily use of the living room any more complicated. Within the room as a whole, the room feels pulled together without looking staged.
