Day to day, I like that the chandelier fits naturally into the way the entry functions. At first I thought it might be too noticeable, but the overall effect works for me.

Styling the rest of the stair landing was easy because the design is noticeable up close and calmer from a distance.

With the styling pared back, the chandelier stands out without making everything else compete. I did not know whether the room could carry it, but the room feels more settled than I expected from one change. The nighttime difference is that the room feels more lived-in and relaxed. After the novelty wore off, I realized that the room feels better without asking for any extra effort. The room needed a small adjustment before the piece felt settled, and I would make the same choice for this space.
