From across the room, the pendant makes the room feel considered rather than decorated.

The practical side of living with it is that the room feels comfortable rather than staged. I like how the globe form gives the fixture a clear identity from across the room. This was the missing visual step for me because the breakfast nook feels more balanced than it did before. When I turn the other lights down, the breakfast nook feels softer without losing definition. The reason this feels easy to live with is that the piece gives the room personality without making it feel curated for a photo.

I appreciate it most because the pendant feels familiar in the room surprisingly quickly. The risk for me was choosing too much personality, yet the pendant is easier to live with than the photos made me think. It is a little more of a focal point than I originally planned, though it has grown on me in daily use.
