What makes the design successful here is that the room can stay simple while the chandelier carries enough character on its own. I went back and forth on whether the room needed something this distinctive, and I would still choose it again.

On an ordinary morning, the dining room is nicer to spend time in without feeling newly decorated. I expected to like it, but the choice feels bolder in a good way rather than simply louder. The room makes more sense to me because the room feels pulled together without looking staged. The chandelier feels like part of the architecture rather than another thing to manage. On quiet nights, the dining room feels softer without losing definition.
