Compared with before, the entry feels finished but still relaxed. The overall presence is a bit more noticeable than I anticipated, and I would still choose it again.

The longer it is in the room, the more I appreciate that the wall light fits naturally into the way the stair landing functions. At night, the room feels more lived-in and relaxed.
