I like the contrast it creates; the table lamp feels intentional without looking overly styled. What surprised me in regular use is that it feels like a natural part of the room now. From the doorway, the living room feels finished but still relaxed. I expected an adjustment period, but the room feels more settled than I expected from one change.

Without changing the furniture, the table lamp makes the room feel considered rather than decorated. With fewer decorative pieces around it, the piece gives the room personality without making it feel curated for a photo.

What I notice after dark is that the home office feels especially comfortable.

Without changing the furniture, the whole layout feels calmer with one clear point of interest. After the novelty wore off, I realized that I notice the table lamp in passing more than I expected. I had to simplify what I placed around it, and I am glad I did not switch to the safer option.
