I wanted a piece that would make the reading corner feel better without creating extra visual clutter, and this does. The risk for me was choosing too much personality, yet the table lamp feels less risky and more like the obvious choice.

As the room shifts into evening, the bedroom feels especially comfortable. From across the room, the bedroom has a clearer focal point without feeling busy. When nobody is paying attention to the room, the design is easy to live with instead of demanding attention.

From a few steps back, the reading corner feels finished but still relaxed. On slower evenings at home, the reading corner feels especially comfortable. A friend noticed the table lamp before I mentioned anything about the room. I expected the room to need more adjustment, yet the table lamp made a bigger difference to the reading corner than I expected.

I really like the way this looks in my living room, it adds a cozy light source. It was fairly easy to assemble. The reason I gave 4 stars is because even though the base is very heavy, it can still tip if pulled on even gently.
