Within the room as a whole, the home office has a clearer focal point without feeling busy. During the last part of the day, the room feels warmer in mood, not busier. The design feels considered without making daily use of the home office any more complicated.

The everyday test for me is simple: the home office is nicer to spend time in without feeling newly decorated. For evening use, I like that the room feels less flat.

From a few steps back, the bedroom has more definition without losing its simplicity.

The room makes more sense to me because the room has a stronger visual center. The piece earns attention without demanding it because the table lamp adds a point of view without taking over the room. After the novelty wore off, I realized that the room feels better without asking for any extra effort. The room needed a small adjustment before the piece felt settled, though the extra presence ended up being a positive.
