The design works for me because the design has personality without dictating the rest of the room.

The best sign for me is that the room still works the same way, it just feels more pleasant. With the other pieces doing less, the chandelier gives the room contrast without feeling trendy. At a glance, the dining room feels finished but still relaxed. It has been easy to live with, which is probably the best compliment I can give it.

I would not have guessed from the photos that the chandelier is easier to live with than the photos made me think. The room did not need more furniture; it needed one detail, and now the chandelier makes the room feel considered rather than decorated. I wanted a piece that would make the living room feel better without creating extra visual clutter, and this does. When I notice the living room in passing, I like that I enjoy it most when the room is being used normally.
