From a styling point of view, the room feels layered rather than decorated. My partner was unsure at first, but now agrees the living room feels better with it. Almost perfect. Fits nicely in the corner to provide a reading light for the sofa. My mistake...I thought it came with a remote which would be super handy because of the placement of the outlet. I was able to figure out how to get the foot switch within arm's reach so we turn it off and on that way.
