Mirrored surface irregularities are intentional — not defects

The irregularities in the mirrored chrome surface are normal and intentional. They are specifically designed to create unique light refractions and the characteristic light-and-shadow mural effect. Each lamp's refraction pattern is subtly different.

Base width under 12 cm — may not cover a standard US 4" junction box

Due to its slim design, the base panel (2.8 cm / 1.1" wide) and overall fixture width (less than 12 cm / 4.7") may not fully cover a standard US 4-inch junction box. We recommend installing on a customized surface, a smaller junction box, or with a universal adapter plate. Professional installation may be required.

I like that the wall light feels useful and decorative at the same time. For evening use, I like that the stair landing feels especially comfortable. I went back and forth before ordering, but the design is more versatile with the rest of the room than I pictured. This is the kind of change I notice without getting tired of it.

Compared with before, the room has a stronger visual center. What has lasted beyond the first impression is that the design is easy to live with instead of demanding attention.
