Before You OrderHand-bonded paper shades

This product undergoes a meticulous hand-bonding process using paper and glue. As a result, you may notice minor traces of glue along the edge of the lampshade. Please be aware that this occurrence is considered normal and does not constitute a quality issue.

Wiring note

To ensure correct installation, please follow these connection guidelines: connect the black wire to hole number 2, and attach the white wire to hole number 3. See the wiring diagram below.

Installation & Care

Plug-in floor lamp — place on a level surface and switch on with the inline switch on the 59.1″ cord.
When wiring, connect the black wire to hole number 2 and the white wire to hole number 3 (see the wiring diagram above).

Minor glue traces along the shade edges come from the hand-bonding process and are not a defect.
Dust the rice-paper shades gently with a soft, dry cloth; never wash or wet them.

For daily living, I like that the home office is nicer to spend time in without feeling newly decorated. Late in the day, the room feels easier to settle into. The piece asks for a bit more visual breathing room than I expected, and the final balance feels right.

The visual balance works because the design has personality without dictating the rest of the room. My main hesitation was how it would sit with everything else, yet the floor lamp made a bigger difference to the sofa corner than I expected. My partner likes this more than the safer option we nearly chose. The room changes most at night because the room has more depth.

My partner was unsure at first, but now agrees the bedroom corner feels better with it. I expected to like it, but the room feels more settled than I expected from one change.
