The Linden Ruffled Stripe Pendant Light pairs a solid wood lamp holder with a pleated cotton-linen shade in a soft stripe print, gathered into a ruffled hem for a relaxed, cottage-style finish. Once it was in place, the entry feels more balanced than it did before. The last person who came over asked about it without any prompting.

For evening use, I like that the living room feels more inviting. Now that I see it with the rest of the room, the pendant gives the room structure without dominating it.

I wanted one design choice with a little character, and the design has personality without dictating the rest of the room. I like that the pendant can be noticed or ignored depending on what the room is doing. The overall presence is a bit more noticeable than I anticipated, though the extra presence ended up being a positive.
