Styling the rest of the dining room was easy because the design feels distinctive but still easy to mix with what I already own. From across the room, the dining room feels finished but still relaxed. What surprised me in regular use is that the chandelier has become part of the routine rather than a special feature.

The last person who came over asked about it without any prompting.

During the last part of the day, the room has more depth. What keeps it from feeling too much is that the chandelier adds detail without asking the rest of the room to get louder. During a normal week, it feels like a natural part of the room now. I am glad I gave the room one stronger detail instead of several smaller ones.

The choice felt less obvious online; now the chandelier is easier to live with than the photos made me think. Seen in the actual room, the empty areas around the furniture make more sense. After the novelty wore off, I realized that the piece feels useful and visually settled at the same time. The overall presence is a bit more noticeable than I anticipated, and I would still choose it again.
