From the hall, the living room has a clearer focal point without feeling busy. What makes the design successful here is that the design feels distinctive but still easy to mix with what I already own.

In real life, the room feels comfortable rather than staged. I did not know whether the room could carry it, but the pendant feels less risky and more like the obvious choice. Seen from the other side of the room, the pendant adds presence without making the room feel heavy. I needed a day or two to get used to the look, but it settled into the room better than I expected.

As part of our normal routine, the room feels better without asking for any extra effort.
