In the corner, the overall design adds interest without making the room feel busy, and that matters more to me than any single detail.

For the bedside, this table lamp brings the room together without doing too much, which is what I wanted. I like that the room still feels like us, only more complete.

In the guest room, this choice makes the space feel more settled, which is what I wanted. This was one of the last things we added after renovating the room, and it made the space feel finished. Even simple weeknights feel a little nicer in the guest room now. I find myself turning it on earlier in the evening because I like the room better that way. Nothing about it feels fussy in everyday life.

With the corner otherwise left alone, this table lamp works with what we already owned surprisingly well, especially in the evening. It has a little more visual presence than I expected, so I simplified the area around it, but I like the result. I like having this on at night even when the rest of the room is fairly quiet. A friend noticed it before I even pointed it out.
