For the hallway, the ceiling light feels distinctive without being difficult to work around, especially in the evening. The travertine is nice up close, but what matters more to me is how the whole piece works in the room. I like the room during the day, but after dark is when this choice really makes sense. The room feels calmer and more intentional now.

For the look we were after, this ceiling light adds interest without making the room feel busy, even on completely ordinary days.

Looking at the living room as a whole, this ceiling light feels like it belongs there now, and I like that balance. It has enough character to be noticed, but it still works with everything else.
