For our everyday routine in the reading area, the overall design feels calm enough for everyday life, which is what I wanted. I appreciate it more now than I did on the first day. I notice the alabaster more in person than I expected, and it gives the design some depth without taking over. It gives the room a nicer evening rhythm without drawing too much attention to itself.

For the reading area, this choice looks considered without feeling staged. I spent a little longer than expected figuring out how to style the area around it, but the result feels right. It gives the space a little more identity without changing everything else. It gives the room enough presence without making the lighting feel theatrical.

With the bedroom otherwise left alone, this choice feels distinctive without being difficult to work around, especially in the evening. The alabaster adds character, though I still think the overall effect in the room is the strongest part. Nothing about it feels fussy in everyday life.

For the balance of the room, the wall light feels distinctive without being difficult to work around, especially in the evening. I notice the alabaster more in person than I expected, and it gives the design some depth without taking over. It changed the mood of the room without forcing me to change the furniture around it. What I like is that it makes a difference without asking me to fuss with the rest of the room.
