In the sofa area, the new addition looks considered without feeling staged, and that matters more to me than any single detail. I spent a little longer than expected figuring out how to style the area around it, but the result feels right. I like that the room still feels like us, only more complete. Nothing about it feels fussy in everyday life.

For the corner, this floor lamp turned out to be exactly enough of an update, and I like that balance. I would still choose it again, though it asks for a little more visual breathing room than I expected.

For the reading corner, the floor lamp gives the space a stronger point of view. The fixture feels like part of the architecture now rather than an afterthought. It feels intentional without needing a lot of explanation. I like the way the space feels at night now, especially on quiet evenings at home.
