For a room we did not want to overdecorate, the overall design gives the room a clearer sense of balance. I cared more about the mood of the room than making a statement, and this landed in the right place.

In the entryway, this ceiling light turned out to be exactly enough of an update, which suits our home. I liked it online and needed a little time to like it just as much in the room, but now it feels right. The effect is more about the whole space than the ceiling light by itself.

For the living room, the ceiling light gives the room a clearer sense of balance, especially in the evening. I like that the ceiling fixture contributes to the room without dominating it. It gives the room enough presence without making the lighting feel theatrical. I expected to like it, but I did not expect it to change the overall feel of the room so much.
